What's this on my labs leg?
«

Any ideas what this black bubble is on my labs leg? Not sure if it's a wart or what. The upper mark is a scar from a cut. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE! What's this on my labs leg?
«

Update!
I heated up a screwdriver and burned it. Burnt flesh smell bad. Nothing backing out or any movement.
I then used tweezers and finally wire cutters to attack this thing. Pulled on it with more force than I could imagine. The black skin/outer layer came off. What was left was a white fleshy/bloody pea sized mass. I pulled on that too. Nothing happened. I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide. That is where we are for now. Any suggestions guys?

I agree. Take the dog to a vet who knows what they're doing.

I feel bad as I almost posted to this thread early on.
My ten YO female has a growth exactly like that on her leg in pretty much the same spot. It isn't a tick and it was checked out years ago by a vet and vet said to just watch it.
Take care of her and get it checked.
The Internet is full of horrible advice and this is a perfect example.

My gsp had something like that we were going to keep an eye on... A couple days later he bit it off and it healed up.
Not positive it is exactly same but was a dark colored skin tag looking thing.

Ring worm was my guess.
You can pull ticks by grabbing them as close to the skin/top as possible them pull up then out.
I've tried the lighted match or lighter or heated object method before and never worked. I always ended up pulling it myself as stated.
then torch the thing immediately after. Had to pull 100's off my dog once sucked, but did eventually get them all.
Yea now that it's not a tick a vet is next best thing.
